Bao Buns and Other Influences
20th February 2026 - 10.00 a.m.-2.00 p.m.
This is a hands on course, making bao buns and dumplings. Bao Buns are fluffy, pillowy, white steamed buns originating from Chinese cuisine, characterised by their slightly sweet, airy, and soft dough. They are perfect for filling with delicious Chinese dips, and you will make a selection.
We will guide you through to make the perfect bao buns, and you will enjoy your creations for lunch. Any buns that you just can't manage can be taken home for all to enjoy at another time.
These delightful light fluffy buns are so delicious and a great way to serve for a light lunch with a duck filling and spicy sauce.
Lightly pickled vegetables are so easy and really compliment the fillings.
