This is a fun, hands on Sushi course . We will explore these different ways to make Sushi, demonstrating how to prepare the perfect Sushi rice
We will put together the following sushi.
Then the choice is yours, you can make them all or just the ones you fancy.
We will have some for lunch enjoying the sushi you have made and the remainder you can continue to enjoy at home
- Maki Rolls
A Japanese sushi consisting of rice and fillings such as raw or cooked fish, vegetables, rolled in a sheet of dried seaweed.
- Dragon Sushi
A sushi with the filling decorated on the outside with avocado to imitate dragon scales
- Hand Tied Sushi
Cone shaped sushi wrapped in Nori seaweed sheets.
- Pressed Sushi
Sushi made with rice and fillings such as mackerel, salmon, or shrimp, and then pressed in to bite sized squares
- Tamago Sushi (Japanee Omlette)
A popular, mildly sweet Japanese pan-fried omelette. Popular with vegetarians.
