I will demonstrate how to prepare the perfect Sushi rice
I will show you how to put together the following sushi. Then the choice is yours, you can make them all or just the ones you fancy.
We will have some for lunch and the remainder you can continue to enjoy at home
Maki Rolls
A Japanese sushi consisting of vinegared rice and fillings such as raw or cooked fish, vegetables, or tofu, rolled in a sheet of dried seaweed.
Dragon Sushi
A sushi with the filling on the outside - so it can look like a dragon
Hand Tied Sushi
Cone shaped sushi wrapped in Nori seaweed sheets.
Pressed Sushi
Sushi made with vinegared rice and fillings such as mackerel, salmon, or shrimp, and then pressed in to bite sized squares
Tamago Sushi (Japanee Omlette)
A popular, mildly sweet Japanese dish featuring a thick, grilled, or pan-fried layered omelette, served on a small, hand-formed bed of vinegared rice, and bound with a thin strip of nori seaweed. Popular with vegetarians.
